Gir safari tour tour package

Gir safari tour is the only tour where you get to see the asiatic lions in Gir. The last home for the Asiatic Lions, Gir is the place to be to photograph these majestic cats in the wild. With high chances of the sighting, Gir provides great opportunities for photographing lions and their behavior. Also, we provide an opportunity for you to interact with the local tribe to give you an idea of their life alongside the lions. A lot of learning and memories to take back.

Gir safari tour itinerary

As safari in Gir National Park, there is only one option of jeep safari. There is no canter safari or elephant safari unlike to the other national parks of India. While you are on Jeep Safari, you can spot the Lions in their natural habitat, when they are on the prowl. Watching the Lions from open-roof jeep is altogether a wonderful experience. During your Jeep Safari tour, you can also click some pictures of the Lions. Best time to spot the Lions is at the dusk and dawn. Jeeps and guides are made available by the Forest Department.

Pune to Rajkot 3AC train. Drive to our luxury hotel, we reach Gir by afternoon. After checking in to our comfortable resort, we gather for lunch and go for afternoon jeep safari. Evening, we dine and retire for the day.

We venture out early in the morning on our first safari on day 2 during which our guides will help us become familiar with the resident prides and their locations in the tourism area. If fortunate, we may always chance upon a pride of lions early on the trip. After the morning safari, we return to our resort, breakfast and rest for some time.

After lunch, we depart for the evening safari and pursue photo opportunities, meeting for another session in the evening before dinner.

Post our morning safari, we will quickly refresh ourselves and say goodbye until next tour brings us back together.
